I just hit $60. Another $40 to go for my first payout.
Congrats!!! Im just starting up here; any tips??
Yes, work at it! And listen to people who are doing incredibly well. They're doing well because they understand how to do it. One can only learn from them. Also, these are the best group of people with regard to helping others that I've met on the web in 15 years...
It is a big deal! It took me 15 months to reach $60. Congrats!
That's cool. Glad to hear that someone is earning money in this place. I have yet to earn $4.00. So, Good for you. It is nice to know that your work is appreciated. It helps a lot.
Congrats! I've been on here for a little over a year, haven't hit $60 yet. I sure wish I could get that high though. It's still fun to come on here and write for enjoyment and communicate with people, whether you're making money or not.
Good for you, Sophia. I know you've worked hard, both at writing hubs and learning the ropes of HP. $60 in 2 months is very good, I think, and I'll about bet that it is getting ready to really take off. It really does take a few months at best to "age" most hubs to where it is productive.
Thank you, Wilderness. The most difficult thing, I think, was to change all my perceptions about writing, and writing in a way that would get ranked. I'm sure that I still have a long, long way to go!
I'm going to go to the Hub Camp in March when it comes to Houston and I'm really looking forward to that.
Waaahhh! (lies on floor, kicking heels) I wanna go, too! Not fair!
OK, tantrum over. Yes, it takes a while to understand and implement the changes necessary for writing on the web. It really is different than most other types of writing. You're learning, though, and doing it rapidly.
@ Wilderness. Of course - smile - I have a lot of help. When I get frustrated because I've been trying something for days and it hasn't worked, sooner or later, someone will say the exact right sentence for me to get it right!
So, what I say to everybody here who is just starting out, one just has to put one's head down and work at it!!!!
Thanks, wilderness, you've been great. And I feel as if I've reached a milestone.
I hope that you reach payout this month. Best wishes!
Sophia, you will hit it this month! You have done fantastic in such a short time - well done!
Congrats! Will be watching out for your post that you hit pay out this month .

Well, I would have made it sooner if it hadn't been for stupid Panda. But after a year, I finally got to the place where I've achieved payout in one month! Now if I could actually get a payout every month from...

but compared to some with many more hubs I feel pleased with my progress. I could probably do better if I backlinked my hubs but they seem to do okay without the effort. Each of us have our own methods and...

Of course it was one written just a month ago, that I didn't particularly like. It made Hub of the Day a couple days ago and that's probably what kicked it up. What a crazy world it is!
