How much have they written, and how much traffic have they won?

    I have:

    282    referrals
    694    hubpages
    104636 traffic to hubpages

That is only 2.46 hubpages per referral, but I cross my fingers that I find the next Mark Knowles someday.... I do have one that has published over 80 hubs in just 2 or 3 months with a decent hubber score... hopefully that rate will be maintained for a few years and then I can sit and twiddle my thumbs!

I'm averaging 2.04 hubpages per referral!

In my most recent hub (Trackers - Episode III) I have revealed my traffic stats for January over the last four years.

      Here's my current stats:
      4307 referrals
      8799 hubpages
      9011651 traffic to hubpages

        Wow!!

You must be about 6 months away from retirement then Darkside lol

By the way, there were thousands of Aussies in Vegas, apparently the exchange rate is incredible for you guys at the moment.... maybe you should take advantage of that whilst it lasts!

At least I got to console myself in the fact that, whilst our economy is f*cked, we did beat you at Cricket wink

Oh.... actually, that doesn't do your Amazon cheques too much good hmm

I guess that only benefits Aussie travellers...

How do you know you didn't brush past me? big_smile

And I'm sure that's you working at my local pharmacy. I suspect you were researching a hub about Chemists.

Mid year I'm heading to South Africa with the wife for a holiday paid for with my HubPages Adsense earnings.

Because you blatently would have said hello!

As much as I would welcome the opportunity to live and work in Australia, I'm not sure that working in a pharmacy would be my career of choice!

Not that I would get a job in a pharmacy, seeing as I am a chain smoker! Not a great combination!

      Here are my stats:

      59 referrals
      1369 Hubs
      443143 traffic to Hubs

Rarely look at them. I forget they're there - seems I have some active Hubbers - so thankyou to those that signed through me. Not sure if they make me anything but still, it's all good smile

Ever thought about giving it a go?

I'm not sure how much I make from them, but I estimate around $5-$10 per day from trackers and referrals... which is impressive over the course of a year.

It's a lottery though, can take 50 referrals to find a decent one who stays.

In due time. Yes, I have plans for giving it a go. However, those plans are presently a distance away. wink

    I have 5

One of them wrote 1 hub

    It has received 112 views

3 of my 5 referrals seem to have signed up to make a comment or ask a question - they do so and never come back.

This is not a particularly lucrative market for me.  I don't think I'll get rich on referrals any time soon. big_smile

geez, those are some impressive stats. ryan and darkside, do you have specific sign up links on all of your hubs, or do you simply use trackers in your links?

ryankettposted 12 years agoin reply to this

I use both, and I suspect that Darkside does too.

That's actually quite a good publishing rate, 3.75 hubs per referral! Better than both me and Darkside!

Well then, I don't feel quite so useless! But one of the referrals wrote 19 hubs.

One of them DID add a profile pic though, so there's something.

Still very much choking on Ryankett's and Darkside's dust!

Zero. But if you tell me it's a money maker. I'll work on my guru hubs.

ryankettposted 12 years agoin reply to this

I can't confirm that, not yet at least. Perhaps Darkside can though?

You would be surprised at how many signups you can get by just using referral trackers in your Hubpages profile(s) and/or a signup invitation in your Hubpages profile.

That first line of my profile has got me 20 referrals in a month, I can't see it doing any harm. I know that you don't like page leaks, but no harm in using trackers on the occassion that you are going to link anyway?

    2. rebekahELLE profile image85
rebekahELLEposted 12 years agoin reply to this

You can make $ with your referrals if they write decent hubs. You can start with inserting trackers on your profile page. So far, that's where most of mine have come from.

Great going Ryann. Hats Off to Darkside. I have two referrals with zero published hub. No idea if or where the third referral is coming from.

I have quite a few referrals on shetoldme, bestreviewer and Swom but only 1 on hubpages who is hubbing quite a lot, dunno how many revenue I get for them though.

Lol,I've all but given up having only had 3 referrals who never published any Hubs. I even emailed them to welcome them and let them know I was here to point them in the right direction to help get them started, but never received any replies. sad

I am still kind of new at HubPages.  I have a tracker on my profile page, but no referrals yet. Should I put it in my hubs also? Any tips you can give me are greatly appreciated.

    1. rebekahELLE profile image85
rebekahELLEposted 12 years agoin reply to this

you can make different trackers for your hubs. I'm still going back in and making new ones or adding the HP tracker to links in my older hubs. you can check darkside's profile for his tracker related hubs.

kerry, I hear you on the drop down box, it's so much easier, but you can also still use it and simply insert the tracker to the URL.

    74 referrals
    267 hubs
    110500 traffic to hubs

I've always been pretty good about using referrals when linking to other people's hubs from mine, but going back through and adding referral links to all links to my own hubs is on my to-do list. I'm lazy and it's an extra step, so it's easier to just use the drop-down list or search, but man, when I think about how many more I could have had, I kick myself for not doing it from the start!

I have had a few sign up, but only one published a hub and they have done nothing since.

Another one tells me he has written several, but he has not published them.  Why? He does not say.

I despair of ever seeing any fruit smile
