People get excited when they receive payment from Hubpages. Is it because of the long wait? Or is it the fact that they actually got paid?
Probably a little of both. For many people, this is probably their first attempt at earning money online so they get all googly eyed when that first $25 check rolls around!
Congrats to everyone who gets a check(s) in the mail for your online effort. Welcome to the Club!
Probobly both, but more of the later. A lot of people do not believe you can make money online. They usually think its a scam, which in many cases it is. However, there are legitimate ways to make money and adsense is one of them.
It is also very difficult for most people to make money in the beginning. Many of them give up. I tried recommending this site to a friend, but he did not think he could do it..
It's definitely not easy and that's why people are excited. Your hard work is finally turned into cash just by writing and doing things online (such as promoting your content afterwards). Although getting paid is usually exciting nonetheless
