    Ya know that theme song from All In The Family?

    What I always thought a certain line of it said (until I actually bothered to look it up one day)  was

    "Gee you're all a sour rat race;
    Those were the days!"

    What it really said was:

    "Gee our old LaSalle ran great;
    Those were the days!"

    LOL

    Anyone else ever get stuff like that wrong?

      Yeah! How about the lyrics to "Blinded By The Light"?
      He was blinded by the light
      Strapped up like a douche running in the night

      Lol I don't know what the real lyrics are!!

    Oh, absolutely.  I can't think of one at this second, but I do remember being in Junior High.  I was a huge Destiny's Child fan, and I used to try and sing their songs as soon as I heard them, but I'd mess up TONS of their lyrics!

      lol

      A cousin of mine once quoted the lyrics  "like a cat on a hot tin roof" .......as  ..."like a cat on a hon-ey--moon".

          ha
          Well, the music sometimes overpowers the lyrics.  And the singers should speak more clearly! lol

    When I was younger I used to really murder The Lord's Prayer.

    The part where you say Hallowed be thy Name, I thought you said Hello by thy name.  I thought it was really convenient that when you say Hello, you were really saying God's name. Duh!

    And the part where you say As we forgive those who trespass again us, I though you said As we forgive those who dresses against us. It made sense to me because my Mom was particular about what I wore on Sunday. big_smile

    "Don't come 'round tonight,
    It's bound to take your life,
    There's a bathroom on the right."
