Well, I have been following the recent changes at Google, and the Forum postings with great interest. I really love HubPages, and I hope that the optimists are right: that we will make it intact, and with even better traffic after this settles down. I admit, though, that it did stress me out yesterday, quite a bit. Late last night, I started to think of this goofy poem about yesterday's events. Feel free to add to this if you feel led. Cheers!
On a sad sad day in February,
Hubpages took a big dive.
It went so far beneath water,
That no one knew if it was even alive.
Big brother Google had pushed the site in,
And it looked like HP might drown.
We waited with eyes open wide,
To see if our beloved HP would stay down.
Naysayers pronounced the death early,
While optimists said to stay calm.
But no one could help but keep watching,
With anxious heart and sweaty palm.
We still don't know the fate of Hubpages.
The next days will us bring some news.
For now we live with this guessing,
As the forums we continually peruse.
I'm bumping my own thread ... does anyone have any verses to add to my poem? Thanks!
This is the beauty of HP bringing writers with different skills together- i loved the poem

Having written across of a number of sites, some that did the Google dance before dying a slow death, there's a chilling pattern that unfolds, not only for site owners but for their writers. Owners start by making changes--sometimes huge, time-consuming, expensive ones. Earnings climb and just as...
