I sorta-kinda mentioned this in an unrelated thread in another section of the Forum. This is a petty peeve, but here goes:
Sometimes my new Hubs go through 3 or 4 drafts, or at least a few instances of opening the draft, leaving it for awhile, then closing it again. Even after publishing, all of my Hubs need tweakage every now and then. (Never can get it right the first time, consarn it!)
Here's the peeve: All my visits to my Hubs count as traffic, so my traffic stats are misleading. Plus, I feel like a bit of a fraud after doing Hub maintenance or working on an unfinished draft.
I know this sounds like the Princess & The Peeve, but ... Would it be possible to un-include Hubbers' visits to their own Hubs in the traffic count?
Minor stuff, to be sure. But I had to ask.
And BTW, thanks again to the HP staff for this fantastic venue!
Well when you think of it that way ... I guess it's just a matter of being nowhere near that kind of volume (yet?).
....and, I only just found your reply on the previous thread!
So, ummm, thanks again, Darkside!

Any tips for increasing older hubs seeing a decline in traffic. I've shared my hubs on twitter and Facebook and I have a widget on my site. I've revised tags too. Any ideas to keep them from seeing a major plummet in traffic.

I've noticed that there is at least one post claiming to have gained a significant amount of traffic this week, but for me, my traffic has dropped by 50%. One hub, which at its height was getting over 4k hits a day, is now down to 500 hits daily, and every other hub on my account has dropped...

Am I the only one who has seen his or her hub traffic drop significantly (about 80%) in the last couple of days? Since I have not done anything significantly different of late, I'm wondering why such a change would happen out of nowhere.

What is going on? One week ago I received notification from HubPages that several of my hubs would no longer be featured because of declining traffic. I suppose this means that I should jump in and recast, reformat, and re-invent what had previously been a fully accepted and supported hub.Well, I...
