Banning myself from the forums

   I had this notion that reading about the Google algo thing would help me clarify a few things. I was excited about the writing contest. I have topics researched and ready to go, but all the negative crude on here, the people moaning and groaning, and the ones that ask the same question over and over without searching out the answer first has disheartened me to no end. I don't know whether it is good to pick up my writing again and post it here, there, or nowhere.

      No, don't say that Lynnechandler.  Your one of the best writers on here. Why would you want to quit like this?  Look, I understand if you feel this is something you have to do, but I know you'll definitely be missed by a lot of us here if you do leave.

      What other people do is their concern. That does not detract from the fact that HP is a great platform, not only for publishing, but for its community.
      Just write, let others take care of themselves

      Yes, there are some rude people here, but there are also some very nice people here. Are you planning on dismissing the nice ones, just because you're irritated with those who are rude?
      
      Makes no sense. So, I guess you have to stay.

   Thanks guys but this is just depressing, do you not think?
   
   I'm not leaving the site, not that at all, it's just the air in the forums is so desperate and depressing. I know things are bad, but honestly can't a silver lining be found somewhere?

      Well I'm sure there is.  if it makes you feel better, i know exactly how you feel.  I still remember the days when forums used to be a fun place, where everyone was too caught up playing games and joking around with each other.  Now, it seems most hubbers are primarily interested in posting to either debate topics or post to gain attention to their hubs. 
      
      However, I'm sure things will get better here soon...or at least, i hope so.

   So, ok, maybe I can't ban myself, , I seem to keep posting. Dang it. Gonna take a short break though, nice hot bath, wash the hair and come back refreshed so I can get some of these articles finished.
