It's easy, just press "print screen" with showing your desktop, paste it in Paint, save as a JPG, upload to Hubpages using the photograph icon under the comment box.
Thanks for the try, Uninvited Writer, but you might as well have written that in Mandarin Chinese. All that technical stuff really is alien to me and I've no idea what you mean...
Guess I'll stick to writing and simple pictures uploaded through the Hub Pages tool...
Love the little guy in your image - he's more technically minded than me!!
Awesome photograph! What kind of plane is that?? I haven't seen an RC with so many props before! My husband has 4, or 5, large RC planes (Warbirds) but nothing as beautiful looking as this one!
Main Office is Two Screens so cant take a screenshot
a little closer to see the art, left side pc runs XP and is used for reference - has a program called rainmeter so the desktop has some fun customized widgets., right side runs win7 , and is the heavy duty PC used for Graphic/Web/media Design, it also streams media to my living room and well, anywhere
Desktop is usually far cleaner but I tend to throw quick backups onto the desktop when working on design files. Usually looks more like the laptop below.
Its two computers (5 hard drives total) that share one mouse and keyboard via synergy
^XP Laptop used primarily for Browsing and Writing from the couch or cafes.
Living Room Plasma often used to display any of the above or used for netbook (pictured)
And as of last week - 3 of those PC's can be used remotely via my Droid 2
There are many ways. all which involve having the phone access your home network and using dedicated apps.
Its been a few months, so I had time to play .. I dont really use the phone much as a remote keyboard or mouse, that was just an early novelty, but controlling windows media player so I can change songs or chapters from anywhere my wifi reaches on the property is indispensable as is streaming the library from the computer to phone if I dont want to use the home theater system.
Its really easy, most of the related android apps have a set up screen tat walks you through in seconds
Some people have aquariums I have a bunch of flat screens wired together that play pretty screen savers.
I started working online doing mostly ebay sales. Everything pictured probably cost me less than most spend on a mid range laptop from a big box store. One of those lcd screens was picked up for $17 at a Salvation Army! the other was donated by a client who upgraded their office tech
I am absolutely going to hide this post from my husband! His former profession was computer (hardware) repair, and he still dabbles in it as a much-loved sideline and hobby. We have used and useless keyboards, base units, laptops, and desktop monitors strewn all over the house - some of them spilling their insides while he takes a good loooooonnnnggggg look to see if there is anything worth salvaging. Every time a package arrives from Computer Geeks I cringe a little (but I do say, it's usually worthwhile). If Ron knew he could find anything of value from Salvation Army, he would never spend any of his spare time or family time at home!
But, on the other hand, maybe I should let him know that I've been inspired to share our bounty on eBay. Maybe that might inspire him to do it himself. Hmmmm....
Mine was messy I must admit,I have this bad habit of leaving pics on desktop ,but I find it easier to upload them into email from there. Just switched to Mozilla and I really like it ,but when Firefox downloads to 'My Downloads' where the heck is that ? My memory is shocking
Yikes! What's the significance of that eyeball in the park anyway?
And how did you make the picture of your desktop fill the entire width of your forum post? Mine, and almost everyone else's, only appears as a two-inch wide thumbnail.
At the moment, I have a pic of my grand-daughter Macy, coloring me a picture...I change it often between my three grandkids, though-don't want to play favorites!
Thanks, but what I mean is how to make the photo look larger when inserted in a forum post. The screenshot of my desktop is already 1024x768 saved at highest quality in Photoshop, that should be large enough to fit the entire screen, yet it's only a small thumbnail in my forum post.
My daughter, even when she's mad she is so damn beautiful. This is two years old taken at a festival. She was mad at some other kids that weren't "following the rules."
