I have to start a website but start t in my area of interest. Most people say that you should be passionate about your website topic so that you can update it regularly with high quality content which is essence of owning a successful website. But my areas of interest are high competition zones like:

Do I stand any chance of succeeding in these niches as I am a newbie with limited Keyword research and SEO skills?

I'm very happy with the results of the niche sites. It's a win-win for HubPages and writers like myself. But I'm a bit curious about the process for choosing Hubs that go on those sites.One of my most successful Hubs on a niche site has more than 1,250 words, multiple photos and an original video....

Whats the best way to get google traffic from niches like losing weight, fitness, and stuff about ebay and etc...I can easily get traffic with some niches, but others seem to be more difficult to get google traffic from. I am only getting traffic from hubpages from certain niches.I send about 5-10...

The chart showed a loss of about 55% of the traffic on Hubpages in the last 6 months.I also looked at the traffic trends on some of the niche sites, and they don't seem to be making up for the loss.In fact the bounce rate seemed higher than that of Hubpages.What are the old timers thoughts about...
