I am close to 10M on HP. After the Panda attack I started concentraing my own sites / and/or building new sites.
To be truthful, I am pleasantly surprised. Now my adsense revenue from my own sites surpass what I make here.
The 10M is an ego trip, thats all.
Warm Regards
SunSeven
PS: May be I will still be around, like cagsil.
Good for you SunSeven! You deserve reward for your hard work. I look forward to seeing you here from time to time then.
Thank you earnest. We are evolving, right?
Warm Regards.
PS: Isn't it time for bed in Australia?
Yes, we are evolving. It is quite late here, 11.26pm. I am online looking for a new vehicle for my son's new bricklaying business.
Off to bed soon though.
I am already putting some work into my own websites and your post has motivated me to put some serious effort into them.
BTW, you working on niche sites or the flagship ones?
Congrats to you Sunseven, evolution of the site might take a bit of time.
AWESOME GIRL
I have my own fully designed website for artists but have to get off my butt and make the switch. Thanks you just put some winds back in my sails. Unlike Cagsil
Congratulations! You deserve everything good you get.
I have heard a lot of people say they are working on their own sites now. I think maybe this is what Google wanted, for us to get away from writing for article sites. Still, I appreciate the opportunity these sites gave me. I would not have been able to pay my bills were it not for them.
I am lucky to have found a good real life job, and don't write much anymore, here or anywhere else. By the time I get off work, I am too tired to write. Maybe when the rampaging panda calms down, I will start my own blog, but right now, I'm content to live in the real life world, although I do like to check in to see how everyone is doing.
Hope my own sites surpass my HP earnings, I've been able to get in some good PR6, 5 links to it, just waiting for it to rise from 7th on Google first page to top 3 lol
Congrats SunSeven! I hope you received at least a dime for every view! I'd wager HP makes much more from your hubs than you do!
You are absolutely correct SunSeven, having couple of own websites can earn you much more than what you make on HP. Just it takes little more effort but it is really worthwhile.
you were the first person I read about on Hubpages;actually one of your articles was the reason I continued to come back to HP and eventually open an account.
I'm sad you're leaving. maybe share some of your other webpages addresses so i can visit.
Congratulations SunSeven! How I wished that your 10M hits turns into €10M Adsense earnings for you. Your hubs were quite inspirational and core steping stones for me on IM journey when I joined HubPages. I'm out to your profile page to admire your Accolade. Well Done SunSeven!
Edit: Oh you wrote that you're close to 10M on HP. Beautiful. I just checked your profile. Well done!
Good luck with your 10M hits - it will take me decades to reach that total. Currently, all my hubs have all but died in the last six weeks, hardly any hits at all after a great first two months this year.
I beginning to wonder if there is wrong - Google/Adsense are not that keen that I live on a tax haven... The USA have it in for tax haven at the moment.
Perhaps, a website of my own is the way forward, but still might have problems with payments and living on a tax haven...
That's one accomplishment to be proud of regardless.
Congrats for when you surpass it.
Wow 10 M...I just recently reached 1 M...it will probably take me several several years to reach ten m...hehehhhe
Congrats on nearing 10M!! To be honest I don't think I will ever reach that achievement. I just reached 1000 views, and have not even thought about the 10k mark yet.
I am glad to see your sites are doing well too though. I actually just began a blog site that i have been working on for the past week. I hope to make it popular with Google soon.
I have been here for about 4 months and am close to the 10M mark. But this is possible because of the advice given by fellow hubers when I first started "write many quality articles and the views will come"
So I did and according to my estimates I should reach 10m by this same time next week. I cannot thank enough the hubers who freely and unselfishly offered their advice and knowledge and because of them I will stay on HP hoping to weather the Google storm.
Sorry I made an error, I meant 10 thousand views not 10 million, God forbid I would reach 10 million on 4 months...lol I couldn't handle it. Again I apologize for the typo.
My stats reads this figure at this moment:
9,922,035
How long do I have to wait to cross the 10M mark?
C'mon fellow hubbers. !
Took 4 years!.
Lost a few million views to deleted hubs due to changing policies.

So for all of those interested, I have been with Google Adsense for a month, I have a total of 36 Hubs right now, and I have never gotten a single email from Adsense. I have reapplied 6 times now, have been very frustrated, but have finally gotten it!I thought this would be a great time to write an...

I never earn very much on Adsense, so I'm extremely excited. I have 10 hubs on there, plus a blog. The entire $5.08 was from one of my hubs; to date, this hub has earned $24.02 (it's been up for a few months).Just wanted to share my progress, because I know how discouraging it can be to...

I can't believe how long it took me to get that last .12 cents I needed, but this morning it finally happened and I am now a little over $100.00.I have been here almost 9 months and was hoping to reach the pay out threshold in 10 months, so I guess I am a month ahead of schedule.I look forward to...

That's right folks! I'm living proof that it can be done with some good old fashioned work ethic. I have only 9 hubs, but have busted my butt daily learning all the methods of linking and article writing. The majority of my time has obviously been spent learning, but as my repertoire and knowledge is...

I honestly can't believe it. But I've checked my spreadsheet half a dozen times. Yes, I just hit the $1,000 threshold for November. (There could be an Amazon return or two tommorrow which will ruin the fun, but for now I'm enjoying the digits.)I'm only running, Amazon, Ebay, and Adsense on hubs...
