I am poor in that, I have only 48 lifetime comments, out of that half of the comments I received for my hubnugget hub.

48 for 13 hubs is acually pretty good in my opinion, but I can see how most of your comments came from the hubnugget hub [I am trying to get nominated smile].

But yeah, I have 41 to date.

        thanks,
probably one more thing I should add, I have joined with hubpages 6 weeks back, and as per my understanding, to be nominated to the hubnuggets you should be a newbie with 90 days or lesser older on hubpages..
you may try hubmob...I wish you all the best

I see, thanks for the update. I had expected it to be based on the number of hubs you had written. I am definitely going to try Hubmob out though. I haven't had much time to actually write lately, but I might put something together this weekend.

70 comments spread across 13 hubs over the period of one month.  If, for some reason, that sounds impressive, I ought to point out that roughly half of those are my own .. those don't count, right?

Well mskills, I've got about the same hubs in the same amount of time. I've only got 43 and half are mine haha. I'd say you're doing something right

If you really want to fish for comments, I'd write a hub about ... oh, say about your first month at HubPages.  Maybe include some underdog sentimentalities, how little pocket change HP has produced for you, and self-deprecating humor at your writing.

I'm not saying I'd do it, but ... well ...

    I have 2710 comments on 102 hubs.

I have also eliminated over 50 hubs within the duration of my time on HP, however, I haven't a clue how many comments were on those hubs. lol

At first, I was going to think up some witty remark to your comment count.  But I think this says it best: Holy *@$*!

I didn't even realize there was a counter for that.  I see the total now.

134 comments... (I'm sure many of my own responses in there)

    23 hubs

    13 days

No idea what a "hubnugget" is.

582, but I deleted the comment capsule at the end of some of my hubs that were heavily commented on, so there were more.
