my hub score just get up and down. my hubs suddenly become all duplicate. wow that's terrifying.
Unless you copied the other site's articles word for word, there is no chance your hubs should get marked as duplicate. If you did, you deserve to have a low hub score.
If you quote from another site, you can only use a couple of sentences and then link to the original. You can't quote whole paragraphs.
In order to write good content you must put thought and effort into your writing, there is no short cut by copying.

yeah thats right, some of my hubs are labeled duplicate. whenever i put Bible verses (specially those famous ones like John 3;16) after publishing. its a duplicate. . . . . .sometimes i just need to change it.

What's the hubpages view on copying free license text and passing it off as your own?Even if quoted, its duplicate content.. which I'm sure would be penalized.. but is it acceptable to do it in the first place?I was just looking at a hub by a constantly-complaining hubber - and her hub is 100%...

First, can I change or modify the hub and will that make it not original? Second, I have other hubs that should be certified original so what should I do?
