I looked and looked. I printed out the page on the html crash course for HP, but it does NOT tell me where to place the code.
I clicked on code and played the video and that doesn't explain it either. Is there a tutorial?
The capsules are great, but it is easier to make text a hyperlink.
Your help is greatly appreciated!
simply put this below around the word you want to be linked
<a href="http://www.example.com"> Your Text </a>
replace http://www.example.com with your website or website page
replace " Your Text" with what you want
What is covert text? Are you talking about anchor text?
It is even more simple than that. Highlight the words you want to link and press on the chain icon in the toolbar of the capsule. Then you input the link into there and voila.
You can't input HTML code into the capsules.
I figured out how to use the capsules...I will try what you said. grab the text and click the link icon.
Ok I figured it out. You MUST be in the text edit for the tool bar to show the chain link which is grey on the top right. It is not apparent when you have the capsule tool bar on the right that is so visable.
Thanks I got it!

I like to add in-text links when I'm talking about certain products as I not only think they are some of the most effective, but also some of the most helpful. What I don't understand is why there is a limit of 2 in-text amazon links whereas we can make a slew of Amazon links using the Amazon...

I just found a brand-new broken link warning on one of my older hubs.It is a poem, and it was published BEFORE all the changes that made extra white-space formatting a problem (discussed in a different forum post). If I go in to remove the bad link, all my formatting will be lost to the new...

How do I place my own Amazon affiliate link into a text capsule? I should know by now how to do this, but I don't and I had no idea that I would get 100% of the commission by doing so!

I give! I've searched the first 3 or 4 pages of "Getting Help" Forum and I've read the entire Link's Capsule section in the Learning Center (http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/using-hubtool). That Hub, by the way, has a large number of Quick Links in it. How do you create a list of topics...
