Hi, I am mainly here on hubpages in order to promote my crochet website and I like to write a short (50-100 words) review of a pattern along with a link to it. I know that I can only have 2 links pointing to my site, and so I like to write short reviews of other crochet patterns on other other sites.
With all the new changes at Hubpages, I am wondering if this is still allowed. I want to respect the new rules and remain in good standing with Hubpages, but at the same time would like to create more such hubs (if they are allowed). An example of the type of hub I am asking about is here: http://rhelena.hubpages.com/hub/Blocks- … t-Patterns
Thank you in advance,
This should help. Here's the link. I will leave it to others as to how to interpret it.

thank you for replying... It's good to know I only need 150 words. Does that mean I need a 150 word description for each outgoing link? I am also wondering if I am allowed to post several short descriptions along with a link to another website....say 5-10 or more short descriptions with 5-10 or more links pointing to different sites.
It's my understanding hubs have to be at least 400 words.

Now that the niche sites are up and running, wouldn't it be a good idea to add a "Forum" menu item on each site to link to the relevant topic forums on HubPages? (maybe there is a link already, but I can't find it).

Years ago, I was already on HP and had numerous links in my articles. However, these links regularly broke. I interrupted my work with HP for several months, and when I came back now, all my items were broken because all the links broke while I was away.Since then, HP changed the surface. I started...

I have been on hubpages for about 2 weeks now and am trying to learn successful backlinking strategy, but what I read is very mixing. Some people say to spin articles and submitted to other sites, while others are using paid websites to do back linking for them. Some say just write quality articles...

So I have read a few times now that you can get Google-loving when you link OUT to authority sites related to your content because it makes for a better reader experience. Also on another thread I read something about a 'pingback' in relation to this - any translations would be very welcome.Thannks...
