Has this happened to anyone else? My hub was flagged as duplicate content because someone on wordpress copied and pasted the hub I wrote into their blog.
So frustrated! I hope this isn't a common occurrence. I am shocked that it happened to my first hub ever.
that's messed up. OFF with their heads.
How dare they!! Why if anyone stole my hub, I'd pounce right on their head and chew off their ears! We spend so much effort writing quality hubs and it sucks for your hub to be flagged because of some butt who's too lazy to write his own! Argh
O yes, it happens I'm still waiting for a site to remove scraped content from one of my Hubs - off their site there's a link to report to Google of scraped content on one of these forums but they don't remove the content, HP usually detects copies early on so least you get a heads up.
Notify the HubPages staff ASAP, so they will take the duplicate label off of your hub, then file the necessary reports with Google....
I totally understand your frustration! Although no violations are directed at me, I have been notified that another site has stolen my content! Either way, thiefs suck!

Why does my hub keep saying it is a duplicate? It is my work. I even made many changes many times.I deleted it, rewrote it and tried to publish it again, after having made many changes. Still it says duplicate. It should not say this. It is my work.

I have just written a hub last night, about a singer, who has never been written about before, apart from on her own YouTube site, and I have been wacked with a duplicate warning and unpublished!!! How on earth can it be duplicate when the whole hub came out of my brain? On top of this it says it...

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't find the answer. If I have written on HubPages am I allowed to publish that hub on another site? I may alter it a little to make it shorter, but it would basically be the same and I'm unsure if this is allowable. Comments, please.
