I have a goal of 1,000 hubs. Will I really "retire" after I complete my goal?? Prolly not - I'm an addict!
Grats! If you don't really want to retire, but you don't want to lose that pretty round 1000, you could always write some hubs for me. I won't tell, I promise
Congratz for making it so far and good luck at hitting 1000!
congrats but in order to retire you need approval from every hubber
If approval is given, we will have a whipround for a gold watch.
Okay, but it has to be a Rolex - I'm allergic to everything else!
We have all discussed this. Rolex out of the question, you cannot retire and must stay. After 1,000 milestone we will be egging you on to hub number 2000. We'll talk about Rolex after that.
that's awesome. 1000 hubs is a big deal. I'm at 97 now I think. Got a ways to go. Ha ha, yeah you can write some for me too. Get us to send ya money! ha ha. Yes, you don't want to retire yet, it's too much fun. Today, I'm doing some recipe hubs. stuffing, cheese ball, etc... I went in two days ago and started editing my hubs, fine tuning and izzy said my keywords are all over the place. Suddenly realized how you do the keywords. Gaining a little bit more traffic, but still doesn't seem like a lot yet. Probably takes time, if I have done everything right.
Happy Thanksgiving. Tom is going to go down my throat really well.
You missed a zero, habee - you have to write 10,000 hubs before you can retire!
(Just trying to keep a good hubber writing)!
When you hit 1,000, we need to have a party - I'll bring the cupcakes!
That sounds great! I make a tasty cheese ball, so I'll make a few of those.
I didn't think the word 'retire' was in your vocab Habee?? Congrats and good luck on 1000 (we know you can do it)
Next Habee hub: recipe for aforementioned cheese ball.
Unless you have already written it. Off to look (because I love me some good cheese)!
Wow that is an amazing number of hubs. Can't retire, because we are all looking up to you as a role model.
You won't retire Habee, because Hubpages is a lifestyle choice.
Eh? Sounds good!
Oh, I'm not planning on going anywhere. Even if I stopped writing, which I doubt I ever would, I'd still be reading hubs and chatting on the forums!
Wow, gotta hand it to you. You are one eager beaver. Keep chewing away and you'll be at 1000 before you know it. You are an inspiration to all of us.
That will be a day of big celebration! But then, you will just set a new goal of 2,000! As Izzy said, it is lifestyle!

What is the optimum number of words for a hub- 400, 500 or 1000 words?I try to not to write over 500 words as it has been said that people tend to scan articles/hubs or lose interest after 500 words.I also find that breaking up my hubs with bold sub-headings and placing photos or monetized capsules...
