Don't want to dwell on this, because I hear we're not supposed to do that, but the day after Thanksgiving, I got a present in my account!!
Thanks to all the hubbers here on HP who talked me out of quitting on at least a couple of occasions for all their moral support. I wouldn't have stayed without you cheering me on.
And to those who were not so very nice to me, becaue they considered my niche "fluff" and not "serious writing"..........gotcha!!
Congratulations, DIYweddingplanner! Make a copy and frame it to give yourself a boost when you need it.
Thank you, Habee! Hopefully, there will be many more! And I have noticed you are one of those who supports other writers here, so wanted to say thanks to you as well.
Congrats DIY. I'm from S.C. (though living in Texas now). Why didn't you put a comment capsule on your Boykin hub? I'm on my second Boykin. They are such beautiful babies, and have such a marvelous temperment.
Hi RM, hard to find anyone from SC on HP, so glad to meet you!
As far as the Boykin hub, I had one, but I had someone put really cruel comments on there implying that I had somehow hastened my dog's death, so I took it down. It really hurt my family that people could be so mean. And you're right about the Boykins. I don't have one now, haven't gotten one since Molly passed away, but I would love to have another one some day.
Only North of you, my Georgia RD neck! Thanks, Randy, really!
Yore welcome! Now you can buy that first pair of shoes you've always wanted!
Really though, it won't take as long for the next check to arrive. Glad you stuck it out.
Good for you DIY, now write more 'fluff' and go get 'em.
Mpg, I'm gonna "fluff" my heart out... all the way to the bank!

Can anyone share any advice for ways to check the number and location of webpages that are linking back to your hubs? I know there are quite a few commercial products available but as a small-timer, I'm currently trying utilise free resources. In the past, I used 'Yahoo! Site Explorer' to check...

I'm new to hubpages and writing, also i have only done 3 hubs in nearly 2 months. Most of my time i have been trying to get my head around all the affiliated stuff, plus promoting, signing up here and there. I'm very glad to have found hubpages or as i believe, hubpages found me. ...

I found this website with a list of all the Google updates in the past couple of years. If you track your traffic you can organize it in which "era" it did well and which "era" it dropped. There are also links to explain what each update focused on. Hope it...
