HELP! I'm new to Hubpages (4 days). I noticed that when people make comments on my hubs, there are little titles that say: level 2 commenter, etc. How can I tell what level I am at?

Go to your profile and check what "Accolades" you have. One of them will be your commenting level (unless you're still at level 0)
When you make a comment on someone's hub it tells you, but as has been stated, if you're too new to commenting, it won't register. So get busy reading, and commenting on hubs, and your level will rise.

An Accolade is an award for an achievement. But Commenter Level isn't an award for achievement - it's just a measure of your commenting activity at that point in time. In that sense, it's more like Hubber Score. The trouble is that people think it is an award for achievement...

Can commenter level be decrease if yes what will be the reason?How my commenter level is showing level 1. Previously it was showing level II now it is level I can anyone will explain this.

This is strange. I was a level 3 commenter and have been commenting a lot in the last week, hopefully considered quality comments, but I went down to a level 2 commenter today. Does anyone know if Hubpages changed their commenting rules? I find this frustrating.

I've been a level VIII commenter for well over a year. Today, I noticed I've been reduced to level VII, yet I comment on several hubs every single day. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know why my level may have been reduced?

I love the new look of the hubs. The share buttons are in the right place (as evidenced by other popular blogs/site).
