This evening I thought that I would check my Google AdSense earnings for something to do.
I almost fell off my chair when I discovered that I have made my first 49 cents Australian!
The best thing about it is that I came here to write and learn, not for the money. Bouyed by my financial success so far, I have also signed up for the HP and Amazon programmes.
My next goal - $0.59AUD in a month
You have great financial ambition my friend. For me I am bit more greedy than that. I want my HP earnings to be $10 per day, Adsense $10/day and Amazon $1,000,000,000 period.
Does that make sense?
Hey, it's a great start! Especially since you've only been publishing for 2 months!
Let's not get too optimistic. 0.49 is one thing, 0.59 is quite another!
Isn't it really nice to know how appreciated we are?
Now all you need is a slide in X-Rates... but hey.. consider yourself lucky that you don't earn in Zimbababababawy currency... it costs $9000,000,000.oo just to buy a single serving of McDonald's Small Fries
I remember it costs 15billion to buy a loaf of bread - that was about a year ago. i wonder how much its now
You are so lucky because I cant seem to join up with Google AdSence for some reason. If you can help me please do. by the way Congratulations on your first wage package.
If you put up an avatar pic on your well written home page.. then they might not look at you sideways... have you noticed that your incognito image is that of a Man Helen?
Even a Gaelic symbol - anything that helps people see that your personality is one worth noting positively.
Thanks so much for the advise. Hummm now what do I put. will do it at the weekend. Tune in next week. Thanks again.
Yup PD is right. You live in Ireland acc to your profile and therefore you shouldn't have a tough time getting approved. Try adding a picture of something reasonable maybe even one of your dishes (as I see you have lots of recipe hubs). That will surely help.
Congratulations on your first Adsense earnings, The Writers Dog! I was also thrilled to see my first Adsense earnings.. so exciting to watch those few cents turn into a dollar. Cheers!
Congratulations! I haven't earn anything yet but I'm still determined to write articles and share some of my knowledge with everyone (who would like to read it of couse)
I remember my first 13p, I decided not to look again until I'd written 50 hubs..when I did look I'd made abotu £5.. then I left it another month or so and I'd got lucky and some of my hubs were snowballing.. the rest is history!
Good for you! I can totally relate to that wonderful figure of less than a dollar:-) I'm here for around 6 months and still feel appreciated for every cent I see up to a dollar:-)
If was in it for the money...well...then I'd better get job LOL...
