I received an email notifying me that I was elevated to Level II commenter. I replied with a "thank you." I was able to respond to firstname.lastname@example.org in the past, but today my mail bounced. Could you please tell me why? The message I got back is below. Thanks in advance.

I think being able to send private messages to other users would be a great feature. I have followers who joined HubPages just to follow my content, and I would like to be able to contact them directly, but since they don't have hubs posted this is difficult.

Hey all! I cant seem to verify my phone number because HubPages cant contact it at this time. Am I doing something wrong or what? I solved the CAPTCHA and clicked "Send Message" but it only comes up with the exact same error message.

If you receive an e-mail from a HubPages member, and the message says "e-mail address not verified," do you respond? I've only received a few messages through e-mail, all from truly wonderful HP people, but one showed the "not verified" message, and that gave me pause....
