I learned the day of "the big change" to read the official announcements the first thing after I log in. I was right in the middle of writing and editing a new Hub, when someone pulled the switch. If I had read the announcement, I would not have been surprised. My fault!
BTW, I like the new look and change now that I've worked with it a couple of days.
Good point mary615 - we get so caught up with all the different things that we do on HP that it is easy to overlook the official announcements. Thanks for the tip!
By the way, I think I'm finally getting used to the new icons and the new look.
I agree, everyone should read the announcements.

Do you routinely check the Forums on HubPages?I think it's a good idea to check the Forums, especially the announcements from HP staff. That way you have no surprises as to any new features.
