Am I the only one who sees this different look? Is this a phone AP of some sort?

Must be this:

Yep, it is. I certainly won't be doing any tech articles if this is the format we have to use.
Wow. Shoot! This has changed all of my tech hubs including one that is ranking high in Google! So no Google ads, my ad revenue just stops on one of my high traffic hubs..... I don't really like that at all! I have worked hard to tweak that particular hub for the views and Google ad revenue. Hmm... Oh well, I guess I can go back to eating pork and beans again, instead of hamburger steaks for dinner!
Thanks for the heads up Randy, so that we had another post the blog link. I never would have known.
Edit: Well there is two google ad blocks there, text only however. Maybe they will do as mentioned and add the others back in there.

The ads haven't been 'added' yet.
I wasn't referring to the lack of ads, Rochelle. It looks like a blogger blog.
I would not want to have my stuff ad free for a minute.
Thank you!!
I thought maybe I was trippin, or it was a glitch of some sort.
Not particularly fond of the new look, and why would they take off the social media buttons?
cheers,
MD
Whatever it is it's boring as heck! Geez, I hate all of this new cr*p!
I went to the author's profile and clicked on a couple of her Hubs. Noticed there are no ads on any of them so is this maybe the design for someone who (for whatever reason) is not permitted/willing to show ads on their Hubs??
Just a guess!
Looks to me like somebody doesn't have enough to do so they are attempting to be creative by ruining what I thought was a wonderful format. Thought I'd give myself some time to get used to the new look of the fashion hubs, but I just can't. I don't know what they are thinking. Plus my traffic ain't so hot as it was.
I had to fix a broken link and once done, I got that 'design' also I thought, whoa! HP, did something break somewhere? no idea, but I trust it will resolve itself even if it does look strange
AFK, alright, peeked at that link. Features will be slowly added back to measure the outcome and hopeful tweaks for a improved visit. cool
I accidentally responded to yours, instead of the one above-- sorry.
No problem, Rochelle. Ugh! Just found one of mine using this format!
I just found one of mine as well. I'm not positive yet, but I think I like it. We will see how it goes as they add stuff.
HP team must be working furiously at the office can you hear the keyboards clickin n clackin?
I'm kind of thinking that HP really does know what they are doing.
Pinterest is something like 95% women, so HP implemented the Pinterest look on the Fashion hubs. In retrospect this seems smart to me. Now HP is implementing a tech look on the tech hubs.
I intend to just sit back and watch the (hopefully prosperous) show.
Hmm... am I the only one who thinks they should really fill up that blank space to the right with related hubs, like on the fashion ones?
Not really digging this layout, looks a little empty to me... and also, that background is erm, horrible. Just my thoughts. I dunno what it is, but it's just not settling with me... but I do think if this is the route each category is taking, then each category should have their own background. Perhaps the fashion and beauty articles would look nice with a red background? I'm sure the layout will look better with some color
G plus sort of currently has a similarly large empty space too
Has everyone noticed how the right side does not scroll? If that background characteristic could somehow be maintained with ads present, there would thus be ads that never go away during the reading of the entire article. Stay Tuned!!!
That's called a static or fixed background, and it's very possible to do with ads. Whether or not it'll look good though, now that's another question
I am a second millennium programmer in a third millennium world.
I think the idea is definitely worth an experiment.

I like a great feature in "Crackberry", the Blackberry website for a cool ads feature. They have Google ads sponsored by Google appearing every 10 or so comments down a comments section. I won't add links here - but check it to see what they look like. Could that feature become a feature...

I have been posting comments in the forums, and for some reason, when I try to reply to a post, it jumps to another window, or will not allow me to reply to another hubber's comment. I also tried to edit a post, and it did the same thing. When I finished the edit, I received a red message saying...

I know we are all here to make some money, but having 10 ads on a page slows down loading time to such an extent that readers just don't have the patience to wait for a page to load. So they click away without reading our pages. To prove my point that the very high number of ads is to...

When I go onto my adsense page, it shows all zeros, but I have more than $18 in the que. What's going on?

I've been trying to get on to this site for the past 24 hours, and cannot do so. I can access the basic site, but when I try to search Google Analytics the screen comes up blank. Anybody know what's going on?

This is disconcerting: I've diligently tracked all Adsense revenues from my hubs for a year averaging roughly > forty five cents a click. In the past couple of months (since the new Hubpages ads option has become available, which I personally don't use) my adsense clicks average a lousy ten...
