I've finally broken through the ice I guess. Just a minute back when the hub stats refreshed. I noticed that I finally made it to 500 views in the past 24 hours. Also, last month I reached payout for the first time (After 7 long months - still waiting for May end to see it in my papal acc though ). In 2-3 days from now I'd cross the payment threshold and so, I'd be getting 2 consecutive payouts. I guess that's pretty good considering its consecutive after the very first payout.
I thought I'd add this to the forums as for the past couple of months there's only been threads about drops in traffic and earnings. I owe the increase to the tomato season!
Edit: Oh to make things better, it's happened on a Weekend.
Congrats! If you're seeing a rise in traffic, it's always a good thing.
My traffic has been rising steadily from March End. Christmas time was when it began rising and reached an average of 100 per day. But, in Feb it crashed to just 30 a day. I'm glad that it finally picked up and the best part is - it's been a steady rise.
Congrats! So happy for you! Let's hope it continues to grw, and that it's a sign of good things for the whole site!
Great achievement. Well done my friend. Hope the increase is coming through search engines. Hope it continues.
Congratulations! I am so glad to hear you are having a great Hubpages experience. You give me hope!
Well done, lobobrandon! That is good going for 30 hubs and 8 months!
I have recently passed through the 500 views mark too - unfortunately in the opposite direction, as my traffic has been dropping down like a stone recently! lol
I just published 2 of these after getting to the milestone. So actually its 28 hubs I did delete some hubs some months back. I do hope it continues. Oh! didn't know yours fell that low... I'm sure it will pick up soon maybe after this months update? Btw did you make any changes to your hubs or are you still waiting to see what happens?
I have done lots of basic "housekeeping" edits, fixing dead amazon links etc. I have also deleted 6 or 7 hubs. Nothing too drastic though. I am waiting it out for now, as there seem to be a lot of people plunging at the mo. I have now given up on a quick recovery and am awaiting the outcome of HP "reaching out to Google", plus the next algo update.
Congratulations lobobrandon! Well deserved and inspirational!
Thanks SmartAndFun, how's your traffic doing?
It's doing OK. It peaked on April 26, then tanked and then steadily recovered, but not to what it was on April 26.
I remember the drop that's the reason I asked. Glad that it's recovering.

I had to look twice at my stats today-I usually have around 60 to70 views/day-which is reasonable for my topics-because in the last 24 hours I've had 322! I am used to seeing lots of zeros next to my hubs, but it seems like they're all popular.Maybe I'm paranoid, but this creeps me out...Any...

For the very first time (that I am aware of) I crossed the 500 reads in one day threshold. In about a week, I'll cross the 10,000 read barrier for one hub. Not too bad for a very part-time hubber.

I just checked to see when it was that I hit 100,000 views...it was 3 months ago. Today I hit 130,000! That means it took 2 years or so to hit 100,000 but only a fraction of that time to hit another 30,000! I am really shocked to see the numbers grow so fast all of a sudden, but I...

First a disclaimer is in order.I broke the evergreen rule with this approach. I knew it going in and did it anyway. What the hell, sometimes rules are made to be broken. Sometimes a gamble pays off, often it doesn't. I do live in Las Vegas though so it is in my blood! Hubs should be on evergreen...

I've been watching my numbers the past few days and tonight I finally made more than one million page views! I've been here just over 5 years and almost lost the whole site in the summer of 2014. It's been a long crawl back, but with the help and advice of other hubbers, the...

And none of them are above 5 views a day. What am I doing wrong? Need some advice/constructive criticism.
