I'm Dreaming of a HubNugget Christmas

We're on countdown, only one more HubNugget week to go after this one before Christmas. Everyone is so busy with final holiday preparations, that taking the time to read and write can be challenging. That's one of the things that I love most about the HubPages community. No matter what else is going on in life, we are always ready to support each other.

Even though life is hectic right now, our Hubbers will band together to bolster our precious newbies and offer them the encouragement they sometimes need to keep writing. They do that by reading, commenting and voting the hubs of weekly chosen HubNugget Wannabes. That way, our newest authors understand that they have found a writing home that welcomes and appreciates both them and their work.

It is a very gratifying experience to watch newly joined writers blossom from nervous fledglings, unsure if their writing is any good and unfamiliar with their surroundings, to competent, ever improving authors who strive for excellence while forming lasting bonds with other writers. I feel honoured that I am able to play a small part in giving these promising wordsmiths a little of what they need to gain their writing legs and take charge of their writing future. I know that my HubNugget team mates feel the same way.

Thanks to Hubbers and non-Hubbers alike for supporting our newbies and helping to nuture their creativity. Whether you're aware of it or not, you have all influenced future writing.

Oh, we have some of the sweetest angels singing in the HubNugget choir. Have a look and maybe even visit their ethereal profiles.

Maddie Ruud is one of the official HubPages angels delegated to oversee HubNuggets. Maddies's glow can be seen in the forums, where she pops in and out of threads to chat and moderate in her very angelic way.

Jason Menayan is the other half of the official HubPages representation in the angelic nugget realm. Like Maddie, Jason's presence can be felt in the forums, or anywhere in the HP Universe.

Shirley Anderson (me) has never been accused of being much of an angel. Her halo's a bit tarnished but she's hoping that taking the lead when it comes to HubNuggets, will put back a bit of shine. Now, if only they hadn't clipped her wings!

B.T. EvilPants has a devil of a time fitting his angel garb over his antlers and quite frankly, he doesn't like all the attention. B.T. prefers to stay behind the scenes (or the gravy boat) but he's always there to help select the choicest Wannabes, write hubs and make evil plans for our enjoyment.

Patty Inglish, MS is the busiest writing angel that I know. Angel Patty is always on the fly, whipping out hubs and articles in the blink of an eye. No mere mortal could do that, especially when they're also scouring thousands of hubs for the best Wannabes to list for voting.

Ripplemaker represents the very best in angelic cheerleading. She doesn't need the HubMobile to travel from hub to hub, but it's fun for her drive the official automobile of HubNuggets as she makes her uplifting rounds to spread encouragement and cheer.

Zsuzsy Bee is one of our happy little angels who watch over nervous Wannabes, after plucking them from the thousands vieing for notice. Somehow, she still finds time to take a turn at writing awesome HubNugget hubs.

RedElf is a poetic angel, snapping photos as she visits the Wannabes that she's chosen from Santa's big list. Somehow, she knows who's been naughty or nice. Her angelic writing talent shines through when it's her turn to write the hub.
