Not from this Planet

Alien Visitors

There are people today, alien astronaut theorists, who believe that in our ancient history, our planet was visited by aliens.

These people point to the Pyramids and other ancient monoliths and say that our ancestors could not have built those without extraterrestrial help.

They say that the shear magnitude of the task, even with modern day tools, is almost impossible.

They will point to ancient cave drawings that could represent drawings of spacemen or aliens. They speculate that our ancestors must have been drawing what they had seen.

They also claim that, according to our generally accepted history, many of these ancient civilizations did not have any contact with each other, yet some of the ideas are similar. They claim that it is unlikely that different civilizations separated by thousands of miles would have come up with such similar ideas, especially considering the amount of work put into each.

So, their conclusion is that we were visited by aliens who spread these ideas around the world and assisted each civilization in meeting their goals.

The trouble is, they have no proof and are unsure of any ideas why the aliens would do such a thing.

Obviously, without proof, the ancient alien theorists have their skeptics.

These skeptics will say that the drawings are just from dreams.

They say that the Pyramids could have been built by man. This, even though the best scientific guess as to how long the Great Pyramid took to build, meant that one 20 ton stone was cut, transported, aligned and set every 4 minutes [not allowing for darkness or breaks].

They say that there may have been trade, therefore interaction of ideas, between these civilizations, it is just that we have not yet unearthed the proof of it.

Basically these skeptics do not want to believe, not without proof.

It is amazing that so many people can be skeptics, yet readily accept religious books that often have even less circumstantial evidence.

We Are the Aliens

Then there is a much smaller group that has the theory that we, humans, are in fact the aliens on the planet – crazy!

Or is it?

We are the only animals on the planet that do not have either fur, thick hides, feathers or scales.

We are the only animals that need artificial clothing or shelters to protect us from the elements ON OUR OWN PLANET.

We are the only animal on the planet that will kill for killings sake.

Is our eternal longing to reach the stars just curiosity or is it a deep seated home sickness?

Did our ancestors settle this planet, and then because of a lack of relevant materials or lack of knowledge, allow their technology to disappear over several generations?

After all, even our astronauts today cannot build their own spacecraft or Moon Buggy.

I am sure that any scientist will tell you that first, you have to have a theory and then you go on to either prove or disprove it.

So why don’t we treat our history in the same manner?

We should not lightly brush aside any theory until it has been proven or disproven.

Anyway, if we really wanted to, we could spend the same money on these “crazy” theories, as we do on either space exploration or religion and quickly disprove them.

There is ample evidence throughout Egypt of experimentation and evolution in both pyramid design and construction to show that this was a human invention and construction. Excavations at nearby work camps suggest a seasonal work force of in the neighborhood of 100,000 men. Put a quarter of them to moving stones and at a 100 men per stone (should be enough) that's 250 stones in motion at any time on any given day. More than enough man power to get the Great Pyramid done in a life time.

The mystery is not so much how man could accomplish it since all you need to do is add bodies until you have enough human mules to move the stones around. They mystery is how they got the stones up to higher and higher levels - for which there are almost as many theories as there are Egyptologists.

Aliens arrived on this planet more or less at the same time men did. We took them in, evolved so we could live comfortably, although much hostility remains. We even gave them a name so they could be distinguished from us, the original residents.

We don't call them aliens now: the common term is "Women!"

Recently in Discover magazine, it was announced that proof of deep sea fishing in Australia 40,000 years ago had been found. Tuna and sharks. You don't paddle out on a log to do me. There is more about man on earth that we don't know than there is that we do.

A very intriguing thought put forward by you Sir! It has brought me to a momentary lull! 4 minutes for all the processes on a 20 ton stone... seems impossible to me...

Well! These theories cannot be neglected in my opinion...though Us humans share our genealogy with fellow chordates and all the biological entities... but who knows... may be... that was a technological blending enhancement made by our advanced alien ancestors!!

      A very intriguing piece indeed!

      Voted up and shared!
