What's your survival plan for a zombie apocalypse?

Run to High School, why? The food lasts for months, the nurse's office has beds, good vantage point for sniping, doors will set off alarms when opened if locked, lockers for storage, showers, and lots of TV's, books, and computers to (attempt) to keep contact with the rescue squad.

My answer is really simple, I place my mother-in-law at the end of the street, she is more scary than zombies and will deter them from trying to enter the street.

I would arm myself with a cricket bat or crow bar, gather together all of my friends and family, hide in my local pub and then wait for everything to blow over.

Make my way to the coast by water. Commandeer a decent sailboat. Head south. Pick a suitable island. Take it.

It depends, are we talking standard zombies, slow moving, clumsy?  Or the kind I have seen in movies lately that run as fast as normal people and can climb and manipulate doors etc.?

I like Rejected Reality's idea about the island.  Not too big so it would be easy to protect with a few friends and a lot of high powered rifles.  A high school on an island would be good.

In the absence of being able to go to the Winchester, I'd go to the office I work at.  There's a canteen there for cooking, and lots of computer equipment, for if the web still worked, plus showers and toilets and things and it's secure entry not just at the front door but on each floor too.
