I would have to say, honest and poor since they are the ones most able to 'live' the word, humility and compassion for others.

It really depends on the person I know my friend is rich and she has never lied to me before, her family donates to cancer foundations, and I know she gave up her entire allowance to help the animals that have no home.

Hello Mega, I did not mean to imply that all rich people are dishonest.  I certainly don't believe this. Some acquire their money by dubious means but then so too cant he poor.  I admire your friend for sharing her wealth.  Thank you for your comment

I know exactly what you mean and of course honest and poor

The truth sets us free and allows our love to shine in our hearts.

If you have money but keep lying then your lie becomes the truth and everyone around you becomes like you. Including children Then how happy are you really. Buying your friends/life. Who wants to live like this. Sooner or later the guilt sets in and sometimes its too late to step out.

Then you live a circle of vicious lies and become your only friend.

You may have other friends but they are all liars and not genuine.

God says to lie is a sin/ evil and those people will never have a happy life.

However someone mentioned that her friend has money and she is a good person, yes of course this is true also. Depends on the situation. Lot of good/honest people have money.

But you are just stating the question in general so yes honest and poor

I think my late mother summed it up when she said 'money does not make a man' (woman) I think you are right, there of both good and bad people,  with and without money.  Thanks for your input.

    Honest and poor.
Because if you are rich you can lie and pay people to keep them quiet.

I'm sorry I was generalizing. I was thinking of Bernie Madoft.
That was a bad mix. Poor people can also take advantage. I know. I've been burned by those who said they were poor. They had more than I did.

Dishonest and rich. But until then I guess honest and poor will have to do... (and before someone gets up in arms about this at least I'm not lying about what I'd probably do. If you answered honest and poor, feeling all high and mighty about yourself, then you more than likely lied).

Honest and poor.... People know when you're being dishonest and will stay away from you to prevent you from harming them. In this manner you drive away all potential friends and maybe even family - the people that make life worth living. It is much better to live poor but satisfied than rich and feeling empty.

Honest and poor.  Nothing beats not having to look over your shoulder all the time..
