I have one child, but I would like to answer, if I may.
My second cousin and her husband did not want children. So many of our relatives were quite outspoken about this decision, which I found rather disturbing.
I believe people have a right to live their lives however they want. My cousin and her husband did not want children - I have a great deal of respect for people who know what they want and do not give in to social pressures. They have lived their lives on their own terms.
I am irked by such undisguised judgment. Many feel that there is something wrong with not wanting kids or not being able to have children. There are so many different factors, it is up to each couple or individual to decide for him or herself what life they want to lead.
I think people should focus on their own lives, their own goals and dreams and give others the courtesy of letting them do the same - whether you they like it or not. :)
