   Why wont anyone actully try to stick up for this beautiful blessing called Earth?
   
   Why are we extinicting ourselves we all have the same insides who cares whats on the out, we have diffrent belifes why kill for them?

   Very pertinent questions, Taylor, and all of them need to be answered by action starting right now.
   
   But in a very general answer: There are many people and organizations 'sticking up' for Planet Earth.  For example: politically, all of the various Green Parties around the world.  Then there is a multitude of scientists, conservationists, environmentalists, the lists is almost endless.
   
   Trouble is they have so far made little inroads against the huge multi-national corporations who are more concerned with short term goals such as making lots of money for their shareholders and keeping the massive  salaries of their top executives.
   
   There are still a lot of people in power who just refuse to believe we human beings are stuffing up the world on which we live.    This, despite overwhelming evidence. 
   
   However, the change to save us from ourselves is on the upswing.  Whether it will have enough momentum to 'turn the tide' of crass materialism for materialism's sake is, of course, entirely up to us.   And that means EACH of us.

   While saving earth doesn't grab most of the headlines these days I do think it's a misrepresentation to say {no one} is working on behalf of saving the planet. There are countless eco friendly products and services being developed around the globe. Just do a Google search!
   In the U.S. we have a political party dedicated to it "The Green Party".
   There are people who volunteer to pick up trash on streets, parks, beaches, and try to get others to use biodegradable products.
   There have been documentaries made and books written as well.
   Several government leaders recently met in Paris agreeing to lower carbon emissions. There are numerous recycle programs...etc
   It's one thing to say not enough progress has been made but it's a little disingenuous to say not "anyone" is sticking up for earth.

      I must agree. For years I have used only 25% of resources used on average by Americans; and so have others.
