According to the World Wildlife Fund, several species of whales, dolphins and turtles are endangered but one mentioned as critically endangered is the Western North Pacific gray whale. Seven out of the thirteen great whale species are endangered or vulnerable and three of the seven marine turtle species are critically endangered.
