IS THERE AN ACTUAL FREE SITE FOR LOOKING UP A PLATE NUMBER? IF SO WHAT IS IT?
No I do not think you will find that. There are some sites which uses the lure of free information to get you there and then want you to join for an annual fee. In many cases, if you join, you will find the site to be a rip-off in that they do not supply information, just links to other sites where information can also be obtained many times for free. The site is about as valuable as a "Google Search". License plate registrations are not in the public domain in terms of being available under the information privacy guidelines. Police and other authorized agencies do have access to databases. Sometimes social workers are give a "read only" access but they normally have to give justification for why they are searching a particular plate. That information is then kept in the file for that plate. There are also some sites that offer free VIN number checks. There are several legitimate ones but you can only use VIN#'s that were created after 1986 I believe due to the format. That's about all I know on the subject. Thanks. WB
i think http://www.nationalnumbers.co.uk/ is the best site for the looking number plates in UK. This site is providing the best service for number plates in uk. you must visit this site if you are looking for best number plates.
