Hi, I actually moved my son to a different school because of his then teacher. He was aged only 5 when he had that teacher. He had no self esteem and didn't join in with the other kids. He just seemed miserable when he'd been to school and didn't seem to be learning at the same rate as his classmates. I always had a bad feeling about this teacher, she spoke down to everybody and was not at all friendly. We moved my son to another school and the difference in him is amazing! (he is now 7) He has improved with all subjects and has a great circle of friends, I definately made the right decision. Teachers should be approachable and friendly especially for such young children.
