Is it allowed to write german articles?
I think it is important to make websites like this more interesting for foreign people like me. So it would be very interesting for me if it is allowed to write some articles in german.
Alas, it is /verboten/ to write articles in German on HubPages.
But that doesn't mean HP must be uninteresting to German-speakers. You could write articles in English on Germany, on German language and literature, on the similarities and differences between the German language and the English one, borrowed German words in English (like verboten, angst, schadenfreude, usw...) and borrowed English words in German, (like cool, hotdog, marketing, etc...)
If you want to write in German, why did you come to a use English site? If you don't like it, go to a use German site.
