Is it not wise to go with what you know?
How could one be something they dont truly know?
Who may one know better than themselves?
With those three questions firmly implanted in mind I can see no reason for a person to seek out to be anything other than themselves.

well why wouldn't you be? I mean you can only pretend to be something your not for so long before someone starts to notice. Not only that but if someone only likes you when your pretending to be someone or something else then they really aren't worth your time. I mean each and every one of us is special and one of a kind we each bring into the world our own unique and different gifts...I mean can you imagine what the world would be like if we where all the same boring.

    why you should Be yourself?
Being unsure and inconsistent about who you are may feel like "flexibility." But there's a downside: Confusion, lack of direction, needless conflict.

Being True to Who You Are: shared trust that in relationships?
mindset vs character: looking for mr or ms right and found mr or ms wrong? tricky, lying, manipulative, devious, scheming, sneaky, cunning, calculating, shrewd, shared relationships?
When you stay true to who you are, all the gray is taken out of the world. It's black and white. You put a stake in the ground and stand firm in the knowledge of what you do really well, and what you refuse to do. It becomes so easy to connect with those that have the same beliefs. And you rest easy...
Being something, rather than being anything, makes life easier, and makes everything you do better...

you got to stand for something or you will fall for anything?
    so the famous song goes.
