    Not so much doubt as the ability to ask the right questions and the desire to learn ... smile

    @f_hruz I have a desire to learn - this was a prompt I wrote an essay on for my philosophy class. I was just curious what others had to say about it smile

    I agree with f_hruz. I think curiosity is far more integral to knowledge.

    We know apples fall from trees. Doubting that gets us no where, wondering why on the other hand....

    Along a different vein, sometimes it's important to doubt the "facts" presented by others. Like, the sun revolves around the earth. One response is to doubt this is true. The other is to wonder why it true. I think the latter tends to yield "better" results.
