What's the best thing that happened to you today?
For me I became a barrister ..woohoo
My sitter who is off duty for the summer invited my three children to her house for three hours this morning/afternoon. They kept other children she was watching company. I was thankful for the break! Thank you, Nikki D. Felder
I found out that my sons speech therapy sessions will only cost $52 a session!! Woohoo!!
My granddaughter called to tell me how much she loves me.
I just closed a deal of contract.
It is great and time for celebration!
Hearing the voice of my daughter...she is coming to visit in two weeks. I haven't seen her for several months.
Just look at all the answers. This makes us realize how many good things happen to us daily. Just take a moment and let the good things seep into you daily. There is a lot that life gives us. Little joys are the best ones.
This may sound "hoakie" -- but, my husband getting out of his seat to get me a drink -- even though he didn't get anything for himself.
And of course, everyday -- the affectionate displays of my children. *sigh*
Ummm this morning when my son woke up the first thing he did was smile at me awwwww (he is going to be two years old in a month)
The best thing that happened to me today is the life i have.
Congratulations on your becoming a barrister!
This morning on my way to work, a guy passed by and said "Wow!" I was walking side by side with another woman, so the "Wow!" could be for her, not for me, or maybe he was on his cellphone. But that "Wow!" made me smile and for a couple minutes I was strutting like a peacock. It's been a very long time since someone said "Wow!" to me. I'd like to believe it was for me. lol

I thought it would be uplifting, to hear remarks about the best thing in our day...or any day.For me, I reached a new goal at work, I'm going out to dinner with Hubby and Middle Son, we'll eat burgers and listen to some live music....and it's a beautiful day, even if I am in Florida. ...

This best thing could be something that you work hard for some time and you had finally achieved it such as graduating a degree, passing a board exam, getting the job you like most and with satisfying compensation; and others such as stroke of luck like winning the lottery, winning a competition,...
