Is it possible that our present life is a dream and when we wake up true life is totally different?
Matrix and Inception are not just movies they point to a possibility. Certainly every thing in hollywood can not be ignored.
Possibly, but not likely as there is no evidence. It is more likely that our present life is all there is because it coincides with all our senses and observations. That isn't to say it isn't possible but without evidence it's likelihood is equivalent to waking up in a bathroom stall after death.
Yes. It is a belief that was around in ancient times and persists in certain religious perceptions even today.
