Wasted! What are the important things that get wasted in people's lives and in their lifestyles?

Why and what can be learned to better use those tangible and non tangible things?

The answer is in the poem Ozymandias...
"My name is Ozymandias King of Kings, Look on Ye o Mighty and despair..."

Alternatively it is in the Bible..as  have several editions, I will have to say my favorite, tattered at the seams even though leather bound is a KJV...

    Contrast between folly and wisdom...

Or the old version of the Zen classic, Layman Pang...

Anything that distracts you from finding your true nature is a diversion...
Sooner or later you will tire of them..but you have to decide this for yourself...

We have tendency to waste one thing or the other and dont realize it, starting from paper to prosperity. Instead of blaming others I would make me an example. I wake up and sit for 20 minutes thinking what would I do today and i end up doing just the regular things. I wasted time here. Likewise paper, time, electricity, emotions and this list is endless. We only realize this when we are thrown out or we ran out of something we have been wasting.

Time and talent. I use to be a good artist, but I didn't use my time or talent wisely, so I lost interest and started getting worse. If I put my heart into it I can do ok, but that time I could have been drawing or painting was wasted on other useless things. I could cook at one time too, but I need to learn all over again.
A bad relationship could be a waste of time. I use to be the person who stuck with it just because I was in it, but I was not happy. I learned not to do that because it would be a waste of my life to be like that.
Opportunities, open doors, and potential connections with people, you never know who can help you and who you can help to get further in life, or who can be a good friend in the future.

We have wasted a lot of natural resources because of economic gains. We are going to waste our only home if nothing is being done.
