Nothing, really. I think America has a pretty good society, over all. I would change a few laws regarding money in politics, however, as well as that benefit/protect corporations over consumers and from their environmental actions.
I think the society in North America took a nose dive when the Europeans introduced the concept of property and ownership. Before that, first Americans, did not see animals or their skins as a commodity. A desire for more advanced products, like steel knives, shovels, axes and cooking pots took a toll.
One of the famous leaders, Techumsa said, "I have a steel knife, but where is the deer?"
