Favorite story of an adult motivating a child.
Can you share with us your favorite story or experience of an adult motivating a child?
In this crazy world we live in we often forget the world is about connecting and children are the perfect vehicle by which to change the world.
My son was kind of caught up with some teen-aged kids who were going astray. I had signed him up for a class in Typography. (He was 18.) The day he started school at the local JC, his friends all got busted for breaking into a car to steal some speakers. After that he got into graphic arts and started taking classes on his own. By knowing his interests and facilitating them I helped direct him onto a positive path of creativity and joy. That was a close one! He got into printing, designing, and print sales. Now he owns his own Graphics, Web, and Print company. My advice: Never give up on your child! Silent love, focusing mentally on your child, and prayers also help.
