What is the first memory that you can recall from your childhood?
Flying on my tricycle, chasing an eagle. I still see it as clear as day. I have no idea how old I was when I had this dream. I guess old enough to have a tricycle.
Neuirologically, when the brain reorganizes after birth, we forget everything up to around 2.5 years. That's when I remember standing on the front seat of a truck, riding with my dad.
That's very cool indeed and who wouldn't want to catch an eagle?! I know the first thing I remember is when I turned one and I attempted to walk and fell flat on my face. All I could see was everyone rushing to me and going " Oh my Gosh!"
My earliest memory was when my little sister was born. No not what she looked like or the hospital- but how my grandmother spoiled me with candy (and presents) for two weeks while I stayed with her.
Awwww, this is too cute. How did you handle the change afterwards?
Rather well according to my parents. Sadly I don't remember much more from that time period.
I have several memories of being potty trained. I'm not sure why those early memories stick out the most, but maybe it's because I fought a lot and got rewarded when I gave in and used the pot.
Somehow, I'm able to remember my first Christmas in 1986. My older brother was pushing me down the hallway in a laundry basket like a train and was even making the noises. I remember it vividly, I was having the time of my little life and had my hands up like I was on a roller coaster, I was going "chu chu" along with him and laughing.
Driving down the hill to our new house when I was 3 years old. I remember being in the car with my dad driving. But don't remember anything before that or after that.

What is your best or worst memory of the first day of school? Most kids are very excited on the first day of school. Maybe it's to wear their new clothes, use their new supplies, or just see old friends. All of us have memories of those day. Some are good and some are not so good.

At what age do you have your earliest memory of? I recall a couple events hen I was only 2 years old. I have been told by some that it is not possible to remember things from such an early age. I have also had people tell me that they recalled things from an even earlier age.

What is the scariest childhood memory, which still sticks with you today?I was about four or five years old when a lightening storm woke me up and my brother took me to a rocking chair in the living room, near the front door. As he was attempting to rock me back to sleep, the wind busted open...
