The stereotypes are that children from large families are loud and bossy, but respond well in a crisis. In Smaller families, the stereotype is that they deal better with adults than with children, but can be spoiled.
People believe that children from large families are unpolished and totally uncultured while children from small families are quite mannerly and totally refined individuals. They also believe that children from large families are street tough!
