Yes, I really like the new slim flat screens because they take up so little room compared to older Tv's.

I agree here. I like high definition as well, as you get to know that actors are often old and wrinkly.

I have to agree.  My previous television was a 27-inch 125-lb. Samsung Tantus behemoth!  I bought a replacement LCD TV just before we moved so I wouldn't have to lug the old TV down a flight of stairs.

I am not sure if I understand the question correctly, but I assume you mean what is on the television and programs about modern and contemporary art programming I would like to see.  If you are asking about the television set itself, disregard this answer.

It is not so much the art I'm interested in, but the artists themselves.  I would love to see a program which gives insight on preferably starving artists and the hardships they must endure.  It would be interesting to know their point of view, what they were thinking while creating certain pieces, and what they are passionate about besides their art.  I would like to know what brought them to this point in their lives and what caused them to dedicate themselves to their art.  I want to understand their passion for art.

Well, the question was Not about the size of TV set. But I liked those answers as well.  Thank you for your answer.

Their 3D capability.  That is awesome television.  Of course I'm talking about the 3D HD, not that stuff that requires red and blue glasses or purple and amber glasses.

I love the flat screen and the capabilities it offers via the computer. It's out of the way and with a screen saver, it becomes a piece of art. As far as programming, I appreciate the choices. Gone are the days when Sunday's were all about sports or biased news magazine shows. Now I can watch an old movie, or perhaps a series that I missed shown on a pay channel. Maybe I feel like learning something about our universe, or something as simple as how to prepare and cook a sea food medley and tortilla egg dish. Choices. I like choices.
