    I use both physical material and online sources, because some of the physical resources are not online and may never be copied onto the Internet. For example, a lot of historical documents are found in family correspondence and trunk collections in museums and the letters and other documents have not been scanned ior typed into web pages. Another example is that sometimes I can access fresh material at the university before it hits the Internet.

    Both. Books can be expensive and I need to save some of my money. But I adore books. The scent of paper, the feel of a hardback book, and most importantly, how good they look in my home. smile

      I prefer to use physical books but sometimes if ailed to get what i want. So i go for online sources to do fast search and accomplish my task.

    i use both too. Some of the articles could be found in magazines and library books, are much more resourceful than website. Of course, if i need some uptodate news, i still need to refer to websites.

    I also use both ways to learn. Online resources are really easy to get anything. But sometimes you didn't your requirements from online, at that time i prefer to use book. smile

    I'm the same. I think it's important to use both resources. Some material in books is, as has already been said, not available online, and my university requires me to gain references from both print and digitised material for every assignment I produce, regardless of my own preferences. The Internet is certainly helpful in its broad provision of current information, but I do think that this information needs to be filtered with the knowledge gained from books, in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject. However, I do love reading, and am therefore likely slightly biased in its favour.
