Outsource From, Or Outsource To?
After the verb "outsource" what is the preposition that should be used? Is it "from" or "to?" Although both of them sounds right I believe only one of them could be. I have come across sentences using both prepositions. (one at a time!) ... "I outsource all my accounting work to some trainee auditors." ... compared with ... "I outsource my advertising from some art students." - Could you help with the answer? Thanks!
Both are correct; just as I can walk from my house, and I can also walk to the grocery store. I can even walk from my house to the grocery store in the same sentence.
Oh yes, I guess when you say "I outsource my work to some students," you convey the meaning that you transfer your work to them. On the other hand when you say I outsource my work from them, the meaning conveyed is, I get work out of them. Thanks!
