What'll you do when your mind suggests it wrong but the temptation of doing the work is on its peak?

We generally face this situation in routine life that when we start to do a work, our mind argues and the ultimate result often echoes in our mind that it is a wrong. But on the other side, the temptation is on it's peak to perform the work whether it is wrong or right because the brighter side of a quick and profitable result becomes heavier than that of the argument of the mind. I have not understood this mystery till date, so I want the answer.

Consider this a good conscience or good morals. If you are thinking about doing something for fame or profit but your mind and your heart are telling you that it's wrong, then it's probably the wrong thing to do.

Consider this: If someone promised you a $1 million dollar reward for killing someone, would you kill them?

Another example: Would you work for a computer scam company that claims to fix American's computers via cold-calls and telemarketing if you knew that all they were doing was infecting and damaging people's computers? There are plenty of these scam companies in India and other places that rip off Americans every day and little is done about it... but does that mean that it's okay to do it?

Luke 6:31 in the Bible says "Do to others as you would have them do to you." With that in mind, whatever it is you're thinking about doing for quick profit or fame, if it will be hurting someone in the process then you shouldn't be doing it.
