If you could go back in time to any period of history, when would it be, and why?
I would definitely like to go back to the years prior to India's independence, and meet Mahatma Gandhi himself. He is the beacon of moderation and the very embodiment of religious harmony - a thing so lacking in our world today. I was really amazed to read about his "satyagraha" (non-violent) movements in fighting for India's independence, and how even the British colonial government and local Muslim leaders held him, a Hindu, in high regard for his staunch principles.
