Is there any importance for government spending on education than doing by the private people ?
Government is your caretaker and so has the obligation to provide you with basic necessities of your life. As it may not provide everything free of cost, it charges something by way taxes and other fees and cess to provide these facilities. Private people may be profit oriented and not impart their services honestly. So government has to do it itself or make others obligated to do on their behalf to ensure honesty and justice to all. That is why government comes in the way.
