No need. If you believe the man made global warming crackpots going back to the 80's the earth was destroyed by mankind....years ago - there is no one here to prepare for an ice age. :-)

You know someone has no intellectually honesty when you unquestionably show them they are wrong and they don't respond, not even an admission they made a mistake, which would be the mature thing to do.

Easy - educate your kids so they can educate their's so they can educate theirs.  Last I heard the world is warming up not cooling down.  So don't worry about more home insulation,  Prepare flood mitigation plans.

Last I heard the earth stopped warming 16 years ago. But really, you believe everything you hear? Good luck with that.

By the prophecy interpretations I have this civilization will be destroyed no later than the year 2028 which should be before another Ice Age. Only the approximately 350 million man who survive it will be prepared to live during it until they give birth to those who will live therein. If that interpretations correct, only those human who go through the metamorphosis of the "new birth" and qualify to survive the world's end will be prepared for it.  [see http://hubpages.com/religion-philosophy … Like-Moses ]

      Greg,
Isn't everything Si Fi? No I wasn't watching I was reading it and attempting to interpret what I read. I was raised Christian and sought to interpret what is written and that's the outcome.

EA doesn't believes things absolutely and plainly contradicted by the Bible like he says there is no good or evil yet he has his own interpretations of it? Absolutely no one who knows anything about the Bible would agree with him

You can take 10 people, give them each a Bible exactly te same and you can come out with 10 interpretations. The Bible was written in a way that it depends on each persons interpretation.

DTMB, Where is found "the tree of the KNOWLEDGE of good and evil" so everyone can pick them & know what they are? If you can't answer that why deny my interpretation of the metaphors of it? Fruit trees are known by their fruit, where's good &

Greg,u are wrong if u think that because scripture can be interpreted in different ways by different people(who may/may not be believers) that has anything to do with its authority or truth. It must be studied in context of the wholeFew do

DTMB, then tell me why the white supremacists live one way from the Bible, the Mormons another, Christians another and so on.

Really greg?So you think because people make false/wrong interpretations of the Bible the Bible isn't true? That's just lame,so because some people think the earth is flat it can't be round?False interpretations exist & can be proven false.

A few design changes work just as well no matter what the climate does. Put more insulation in the walls and attic. Install triple pane windows that insulate the house. Put in the reflective films on windows that let light in to warm your house in the winter but reflect sunlight out in the summer.

Phoenix......The NEXT ice age?  You mean, I'm not sitting in my home with 4 layers and 3 pair of socks on, with 10 degree (-5 windchill) temps, boxed in by snow and ice, piled high beyond my windows, fingers & toes frozen solid?? Brrrrrrr...shiver.
Wow....Looks like I'm experiencing some serious practice for a future ice age!  You're welcome to come visit.  Bring your shovel, long johns, blankets and you might want to wear hip boots.  Just turn right at the fourth mountain of snow and hope you make it to my door before the wind gusts bury your butt!!  Don't bother to knock...just C'mon in.  If you think I'm getting up & walking away from the fireplace.....fat chance.
Great question for me, 2 days after writing a hub on Buffalo Blizzards.  Fortunately, I'm well-trained in Hawaiian Fantasy & I've trained my old overweight cocker spaniel to sleep on my feet!  If the plow comes around today, I might just be able to get my mail (if I can find my mail box).....As for "PREPARING"....I can assure you, I am an expert, as is anyone around here who hopes to see the next red, red robin come bob, bob, bobbin along!!........Later dude....have to chip the ice off my teeth........Peace, Paula
