Do you think Medical Science is a business?

Tests and Medications, and more medications for the side effects of tests and previous medicines.Sometimes it helps and sometimes it end up making us more sick and weak. How much a human have to face and pay for additional pain?

Yes, medical science is a business, and it is the key reason why we don't have cures for major diseases. A cure doesn't give the ROI, while a life long expensive treatment does.

The best medical practices like the Mayo Clinic are businesses. Look at people in Canada and the UK going abroad to get medical care they can't get or cannot afford to wait months for when "free" per socialized medical systems.

Yes, Medical Science is a business and there appears to have been a shift from holding the Hippocratic Oath in their mind to holding the dollar sign in their mind. In my opinion, the value of human life costs is spiralling out of control while it similtanoeously demotes and dehumanizes human life more.
The medical field is pushing to "medicalizing" people earlier,  rendering them weak, more anxious, helpless and dependent both physically and financially.  To me, the medical science group are playing the ultimate power game. Holding one's life to ransom as they know they are the keepers of your life. Playing God, determining whether you live or die. And no person has anywhere to go with that.
Health is one area that should NOT be putting profits before people. The medical field are drawing  harsher and more monetary focused people than what they used to. Therefore we need to be preventive with our health and look to natural rememdies for solutions.  It's our life these people are playing God with. Who are these people? These are my thoughts..

    Of course it is!
Every pharmaceutical company's goal is to make a profit!
There's no money to be made long-term to come up with cures.
The real money to be made is with "pain/symptom management". Ideally the goal is to have a (customer) for life.
